What to Wear - General
When preparing for a photo session, make sure to wear outfits that draw attention to the person, rather than the outfit. Solid colors usually work best.
Never wear stripes, or flashy colors that draw attention away from the individual.
What to Wear - Babies
Simple outfits and solid colors let your baby's precious face really shine.
No logos, emblems, or characters - you want the photo to have a timeless quality. If your child loves Winnie the Pooh, consider bringing the Pooh toy along for a prop in some of the shots, rather than having him wear a Winnie the Pooh on his shirt.
Simple, solid color onesies or just a diaper work great.
Mom and Dad should wear black and white.

Girls can still be feminine - pinks and lavenders look beautiful, but stay away from fussy designs that will attract attention to the outfit rather than the child.
Boys look great in a crisp white shirt and denims.
A special toy or simple prop, such as a football or a single flower can add a spark to the photo, without dominating it.

What to Wear - Seniors
Solid colors and long sleeves look best. Simple designs are most flattering.
Bring four complete outfits, and let Emily help you decide how to mix and match.
Bring at least one formal outfit to wear in the photo for Mom or Grandma.
Bring a simple prop, such as a basketball or a musical instrument. Please also feel free to bring a friend or your pet for this special series of pictures.
What to Wear - Business
Solid colors look professional and long sleeves are a must.
A dark blazer and colored shirt look sharp and slimming for men or women.
Bring several shirts and let Emily help you select the best one for your photo.
